Although forgiveness is central to our philosophy, the culture of forgiveness is not deeply ingrained in ISKCON. We talk about the need for tolerance and forgiveness, we know nothing comes to us that we don’t deserve, yet resentment still resides in the hearts of many of us. This is a hands-on workshop in which devotees work through their personal resentment issues using a step-by-step forgiveness process based on Vaisnava teachings and Vedic psychology.
You will learn to:
- View forgiveness in a way that makes it easier to forgive than you might imagine.
- Get in touch with the subtle and often unknown causes of your resentment.
- See how, where and why an unforgiving heart is negatively impacting all areas of your life
- View what caused your hurt in a way that empowers you to take responsibility for your reaction to the situation.
- Understand what life lessons your hurt is meant to teach you.
- See the connection between forgiving and becoming Krsna conscious.
- Transform your attitude in a way that allows you to positively deal with negative people and situations.
- Develop greater empathy and compassion toward those who hurt you.
- Gain tools and attitudes that will help you for the rest of your life.
Join us in a three part seminar this week given by Mahatma Prabhu.
