December 21, 2018SB 4.4.29 — It was astonishing that Dakṣa, who was Prajāpati, the maintainer of all living entities, was so disrespectful to his own daughter Satī, who was not only chaste but was also a great soul, that she gave up her body because of his neglect.
SB 4.4.30 — Dakṣa, who is so hardhearted that he is unworthy to be a brāhmaṇa, will gain extensive ill fame because of his offenses to his daughter, because of not having prevented her death, and because of his great envy of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

1. Aho: The Sanskrit word, “aho” means astonishing. He gave examples such as from the history of Dadhichi giving up is life for the sake of others.
2. Forbearing: Gave the example of Maharaja Harishchandra and others
3. Hard hearted: Gave examples of devotees like Prahlada who were tolerant.
4. Sexually inclined: The desire for sexual gratification has to be given up for spiritual life. Because of Daksha’s inclination for enjoying unlimited sexual gratification he only offended Lord Siva, but later on offended Narada Muni.
