It is the duty of all citizens in a state never to insult the king, even though he sometimes appears to have done something very sinful. Because of his prowess, the king is always more influential than all other ruling chiefs.

Mother Kamalini Devi Dasi is a seasoned preacher and the emblem of sobriety and seriousness in Krsna consciousness. She is a very senior disciple of Srila Prabhupada. She became a devotee in 1972 after receiving a Back to Godhead Magazine and an invitation to a Sunday Love Feast. Kamalini Devi was initiated by Srila Prabhupada on January 1st, 1975. In October, 1976, she was married to Apurva Prabhu, one of ISKCON’s most celebrated cooks. She has two adult children: Gaurangi-priya dasi (formally Panca-tattva) and Amala Harinama das (formally Amala Purana), as well as four grandchildren. Her primary devotional services have been book distribution, teaching devotee preschool, and assisting Apurva Prabhu in several Govinda Restaurant endeavors and catering. She presently resides at the New Goloka Temple Community in Hillsborough, NC.
